How will I receive my resources upon purchase?

You’ll find a link in your confirmation email allowing you to download a zip file containing all your resources.

Will I need special software to play the videos?

No, the videos will be in MP4 format, compatible with most devices.

What format will the resources be in?

Paper resources will be in PDF format, whilst video resources will be in MP4 format.

What is the difference between Key Stages 2, 3 and 4?

Key Stage 2 spans Years 3-6 (ages 7-11). Key Stage 3 includes Years 7-9 (ages 11-14), and Key Stage 4 comprises Years 10-11, which are the GCSE year groups (ages 14-16).

What’s the difference between Language and Literature?

In Key Stages 3 and 4, English Literature focuses on the study of various fiction forms (novels, plays, poetry), whilst Language covers non-fiction forms like letters, articles and descriptions.

My child is in Year 9 but already starting GCSE content at school - should I purchase Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 materials?

Some schools introduce the GCSE curriculum at the end of Year 9. In such cases, consider our GCSE materials under the Key Stage 4 tab.

When should I start GCSE revision?

It’s best to begin revising by Christmas of Year 10. Early revision helps solidify information in your long-term memory, allowing multiple revisits to improve retention.

When should my child start SATs revision?

Start SATs revision at the beginning of Year 6. This time frame allows ample time to tackle challenging topics, refine skills and build confidence without pressure.

Why is the video I received shorter than an hour?

Our videos are designed to be paused while you complete each activity related to the lesson. The combined video tuition and recommended activity time will total an hour.
